One of the most important parts of sending in a manuscript is the synopsis. I am still editing. I have edited two times. I am on my third. It is exausting. I keep adding things and taking away and finding little mistakes. It is tedious. I feel like I may be able to move on to the next phase of getting ready to send in my cover letter (resume), synopsis, and manuscript.
This is a helpful website. I had wished I could see a successful synopsis and it is here. I am still just investigating all of the recommended sites, but so far, so good.
