I finished Stephen King's "The Wind Through the Keyhole". It was great, of course. I would never say anything negative about someone as iconic as Stephen King. I like the story within a story. The one the boy and his ma.
I found Mark Jean and Christopher Carlson's "Puddlejumpers" www.markjean.com
I like to check out about authors. This book appealed to me because it takes them into another world. Mark is a director by trade.
As for me writing, I keep on it. Time is not on my side lately with moving. School starts Monday, but I still have a three year old that likes to cut her hair in her spare time. My goal is to have it done by Halloween 2012!! I would like to see it on the shelves 2014!

I was quite sad to read that you moved but I am glad there is still a way for us to keep in touch. Yes, the summer was much more challenging than I expected but I am now almost to 19,000 words and hope to crank out 5,ooo more. Anywhere from 22,000 to 35,000 is a good range I am told for a MG novel. Keep in touch Jess and let me know how things are going!!! Do you miss NM yet?
