Kids will listen, but they only reply when they will comply.
Kids are honest about their words.
If they say they will listen, they will.
IF they refuse to say they will do it, they aren't going to do it.
When we listen to kids, we teach them to listen.
Listening is not complying.
Kids can choose to not comply.
Should they always comply?
Do you allow them to say no?
Do you want them to ever say no to you?
What will you do when they say no? and you want them to comply?
Wait them out. They have more patience than you!
When they get older they will argue and they will wait you out. And they are good at it.
